CIVIL WAR

South Carolina begins the war.  Explain her response to Lincoln's election and Lincoln's plan for Fort Sumpter.  What was the April Fool's Letter?  The war was fought in two main theaters of war.  Explain the objectives of both sides for both theaters.  Who won the majority of the battles in each theater? How did slavery end?  Explain the process from 1861-1865.  How could the South have won the war in 1861?  1862? 1863? 1864?  How was the Civil War a first of the modern wars?  How did Lincoln die? What are some questions surrounding this death?
